New HQ demonstrates ambition and demand for CMH Practice Management’s exciting product service ventures in the medical industry

The strategic move was made to accommodate the current surge in demand toward delivering general practitioners and medical practices with a unique and ‘complete service offering’.

Castle Hill Medical Centre in the Sydney Hills district formed the original structure of CMH Practice Management and became its first customer. The successful clinic sees on average 130,000 patients a year. The innovative medical firm now houses three clinics under its banner as well as several new and exciting offerings, including medical analytics tools and video telehealth and lifestyle apps.

“Our recent growth is the result of an opportunity to share our knowledge and learnings over the last 20 years, designed as the ideal service model, for any practice to use,” said Ian Lowe, CEO of CMH Practice Management.

“We have the people, skills, technology and business model geared for success that we can use anywhere and we asked - does anyone else want what we are offering our own businesses?’”

As general practitioners look for ways to ease the burden in dealing with the details of day-to-day operations, particularly in the strange and ever-changing dynamics of a pandemic, they are seeking ways to bring more value to their medical practice and step back from the operational demands.

“What we do is a complete service - finance, operational management, human resources, marketing and uniquely, IT server management - as a bundle. We create an environment where doctors do what they do best, and the business professionals in their respective areas run the business,” said Ian.

The existing clinics are acknowledged as being a very professional outfit - both at a clinical level and operational level. The introduction of software as a service has pushed the service model pass analytics and into a full service offering of managed services.

“Our teams have grown to include, developers, trainers, senior operational managers, sales, finance experts and an upgraded IT infrastructure suitable for a Tier 1 organisation. In addition, the current development of large-scale medical clinics at Marsden Park and Glendale and a growing list of five other sites, ultimately led to separating the corporate team from the clinics,” said Ian.

“In order to operate multiple sites, we had to be efficient, effective, and without bias. We knew we needed to separate our operations from our clinical offerings and create the space for those dedicated teams to really grow.”

CMH Practice Management provides business services and practice management, site development, the AHGP video telehealth app, Healthy Eating & Lifestyle Programs (HELP), and the highly sought after medical analytics tool, Clinimetrix.
